Cette structure s\u2019\u00e9tend \u00e0 l\u2019infini dans l\u2019espace, constituant ainsi un gigantesque r\u00e9seau cristallin covalent de dioxyde de silicium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D&#039;un point de vue chimique, la silice est un oxyde extr\u00eamement stable, insoluble dans l&#039;eau, tr\u00e8s r\u00e9sistant aux hautes temp\u00e9ratures et chimiquement inerte. Dans les applications industrielles, elle repr\u00e9sente le mat\u00e9riau cible final des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de broyage et de transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">II. <a href=\"https:\/\/quartz-grinding.epic-powder.com\/fr\/\">Quartz<\/a>D\u00e9fis li\u00e9s \u00e0 la cristallisation naturelle et au broyage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le quartz est la forme cristalline la plus courante et la plus typique de la silice dans la nature. Le quartz poss\u00e8de une duret\u00e9 Mohs \u00e9lev\u00e9e de 7 et ne pr\u00e9sente pas de clivage (souvent une fracture concho\u00efdale). Ces caract\u00e9ristiques en font un mat\u00e9riau particuli\u00e8rement dur et tr\u00e8s abrasif pour le broyage industriel. Son extr\u00eame r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la compression et son abrasivit\u00e9 imposent des exigences strictes aux mat\u00e9riaux r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 l&#039;usure et \u00e0 la conception des \u00e9quipements de broyage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">III. \u00ab\u00a0\u00c9quivalence\u00a0\u00bb vs \u00ab\u00a0Diff\u00e9rence\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0: des min\u00e9raux macroscopiques \u00e0 l\u2019industrie des poudres<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Il est souvent n\u00e9cessaire d&#039;utiliser des broyeurs \u00e0 rouleaux haute pression (HPGR) pour le pr\u00e9-broyage afin de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des microfissures et ainsi am\u00e9liorer l&#039;efficacit\u00e9 du broyage ult\u00e9rieur.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Silice amorphe\/cryptocristalline\u00a0:<\/strong> On peut citer comme exemples l&#039;agate, la terre de diatom\u00e9es et l&#039;opale. Parmi ces mat\u00e9riaux, les structures amorphes poreuses comme la terre de diatom\u00e9es sont relativement tendres. Leur broyage privil\u00e9gie la d\u00e9sagglom\u00e9ration au cisaillement intense. C&#039;est pourquoi on utilise g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des broyeurs \u00e0 impact ou \u00e0 jet d&#039;air afin de pr\u00e9server leur microstructure poreuse unique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Du quartz \u00e0 la silice : d\u00e9construction m\u00e9canique naturelle et remodelage industriel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La nature tisse de simples mol\u00e9cules de SiO2 en un monde min\u00e9ral complexe et diversifi\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des processus g\u00e9ologiques\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lorsque la silice cristallise lentement sous haute temp\u00e9rature et haute pression pour former des cristaux parfaits, elle devient limpide. <strong>cristal de roche<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lorsque le gel de silice pr\u00e9cipite couche par couche dans les fissures des roches et se d\u00e9shydrate, il forme de magnifiques bandes. <strong>agate<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lorsqu&#039;une solution de silice refroidit rapidement pour former une structure amorphe, elle devient dure. <strong>silex<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;industrie moderne utilise cependant des \u00e9quipements de broyage pour inverser cette \u00e9volution g\u00e9ologique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les mouvements g\u00e9ologiques, durant des millions d&#039;ann\u00e9es, agr\u00e8gent les mol\u00e9cules de SiO2 de bas en haut pour former des min\u00e9raux macroscopiques. \u00c0 l&#039;inverse, les \u00e9quipements de broyage utilisent une contrainte m\u00e9canique intense pour d\u00e9composer ces min\u00e9raux de haut en bas. Le quartz naturel, dur et r\u00e9sistant, est ainsi d\u00e9pouill\u00e9 et d\u00e9sagr\u00e9g\u00e9 par diverses forces violentes\u00a0: l&#039;impact des billes d&#039;acier dans un broyeur \u00e0 boulets, la compression par un rouleau sur un disque dans un broyeur vertical et les flux oppos\u00e9s \u00e0 grande vitesse dans un broyeur \u00e0 jet. \u00c0 mesure que ses caract\u00e9ristiques macroscopiques disparaissent, le mat\u00e9riau retrouve une forme microscopique qui se rapproche infiniment de son essence chimique\u00a0: une poudre ultrafine de SiO2 pur. Au cours de ce broyage ultrafin, l&#039;\u00e9nergie de surface des particules est intens\u00e9ment activ\u00e9e.
